Ducati 1098R Bayliss LE

Build #002 of 500 worldwide!

 Travelled 2000K's.

This machine is as close as you can get to the actual race bike Troy Bayliss rode in his final season. The only rider to win championships on three generations of Ducati Superbikes in 2001 (996R), 2006 (999) and this being the last bike he rode before retiring on top in 2008 on the 1198R.

Enjoying the same high specification as the standard 'R' model, the 1098 R Bayliss LE has been drenched in carbon fibre and has a special color scheme designed by Aldo Drudi and approved by Troy Bayliss himself which sets it apart from the standard 'R'.

A subtle '1098 R Bayliss Limited Edition' graphic on the tail fairing leaves no doubt as to what this magnificent bike is. The livery, which was used during Troy's final race at Portimao in Portugal, incorporates the key colours of his success.

186hp full-system Termignoni exhaust with carbon fibre mufflers and dedicated ECU, truly a performance bike with titanium engine components, performance cams, traction control and weighing in at only 165kg's (dry). It has Ohlins TTX suspension in the rear and Ohlins well-damped forks in up front which helps to keep this bike under control.

Extensive use of carbon fibre to help reduce weight and add to the exclusivity. A bike for both the collector and performance rider. Don't miss out on this truly beautiful low numbered machine that is now available for sale.

Originally delivered to the US and imported into Australia. It has import approval and full Australian compliance and can be registered in any state within Australia (Currently registered in NSW)

This particular machine was used by Ducati America to promote the new Bayliss Limited Edition, throughout the country.

To add to this bikes performance it has been upgraded with WoodCraft Adjustable Rearsets, Ducati Performance Carbon Fibre Rear Guard and SpeedyMoto open clutch cover.
